Quality Steel Services has been serving Colorado from Pueblo to Fort Collins and the Western Slope since 1995 as a steel erector. We also erect building in Wyoming. Our qualified staff is eager to serve your steel erection needs. We have recently completed the AISC Advanced Steel Erector requirements.

BUSINESS EMPHASIS

KEY INDIVIDUALS
Jim Edwards – President/Founder
- 28 years experience in steel erection
- 26 years management experience
- 33 years experience in construction
Jim is in charge of the estimating and business operations. He is involved with the management of the field work. He is committed to the safety of the employees of QSS while completing contracts with quality work within the schedule provided. Jim attended Colorado State University majoring in Construction Management with emphasis in business.
Darin Raymond – Vice President
- 24 years experience in steel erection
- 19 years management experience
- 24 years experience in construction
Darin is our General Field Superintendent. He oversees all field operations while supervising foremen and employees.
Shane Bruce – General Foreman
- 12 years experience in steel erection
- 8 years management experience
- 12 years experience in construction
Shane runs our larger more difficult jobs in the field. He attended Colorado School of Mines with a degree as a Civil Engineer.
Gustavo Zavala – General Foreman
- 8 years experience in steel erection
- 2 years management experience
- 8 years experience in construction
Gustavo runs many of our jobs as well as overseeing final project checklists. He has been certified in various different areas within the construction industry.
Kevin Hamill – General Foreman
- 25 years experience in steel erection
- 15 years management experience
- 30 years experience in construction
Kevin runs many of our larger, more difficult jobs. He has been certified in various different areas within the construction industry.
Grant Edwards – Safety and Training Officer
- 3 years experience in steel erection
- 6 years management experience
- 5 years of corporate training experience
Grant is responsible for safety compliance in-house training . He attended Texas Christian University with a degree in Marketing and Electronic Business. He has attended various safety and compliance seminars and classes.
